About The Genesis Project
Our Mission
We advocate for mental health courts to ensure legal and medical support over punishment for those with serious mental illnesses. We promote humane treatment and proper care in correctional facilities and develop housing solutions that prioritize dignity, stability, and quality of life for individuals with severe mental illness, anosognosia and dual diagnosis conditions. Additionally, we support outpatient mental health and dual diagnosis centers that provide accessible, ongoing care, helping individuals achieve stability and wellness in their communities. Our goal is a more just and compassionate system for those in need.
